The Wall of offerings provides the opportunity for 48 artists and members of the community to express their creativity in remembrance of people and things past. The structures is intended to be reused, allowing new people to contribute to the Dia de los Muertos celebration in upcoming years.
Michael Yates and Star Moxley have supported each other in a number of projects over the last six years, including Star’s previous work related to the Day of the Dead; The wall of niches is their fullest collaboration to date in terms of design and execution.
