A conceptual installation using prerecorded sound,live music,
shadow puppetry,performance,stage effects andfound objects.
We attempted to create a late 1940's Roadside Attraction, where your experience,while standing on the observation deck was one of being surrounded by trash which appears to have floated in on the edge of a storm. The sky is dark,moody and expectant.
Modern Art is an annual event taking place at The Modern; A boutique hotel located in Boise, Idaho. Artists are given the opportunity of either selling their artwork or utilizing the space in other creative ways. No permanent alteration or damage to the room is allowed, considering the hotel provides accommodations year round.
